2022 Ouilmette Foundation Beach Bash Fundraiser FAQ’s
What do I bring for entrance into the event?
Please bring a valid photo ID and proof of tickets purchased (Phone or Printed). Tickets will also be available at the door (credit cards only).
How should I get to the event?
We encourage bike riding, walking, Uber or Lyft (850 Michigan Ave, Wilmette, IL). We have LIMITED parking at the beach lot. Season pass parking decals will be required for entry at the car gate.
What time should I arrive and what is the schedule of events?
Join us any time after 6:00 pm!
6:00 pm - Gates open, food trucks and beverages available
6:30-8:15 pm - Antler Chandelier Performs
8:30-10:30 pm – Maggie Speaks “Talk of the Town” Band Performs
10:30 pm - Last call for alcohol
11:00 pm - Event closes – you don’t need to go home, but you need to leave the beach!
How do I pay food or drinks?
This is a cash free event and you should bring a credit card to purchase food and drink tickets
What is the money going towards?
All proceeds benefit the Ouilmette Foundation, a 501C3 that supports the Wilmette Park District. Projects funded by Ouilmette Foundation include and are not limited to the Wilmette Park District scholarship fund and capital projects to enhance the parks.
Can I bring my own food and drink and chairs?
Outside food and drinks are not allowed at the event and security will be enforcing this rule. There is a bottle filling station on site for water. Bag checks will be required upon entry. Wilmette police will be on site for security. There will be picnic tables set up for eating and you can bring a chair or a blanket if you would like!
Can I bring my dog, weapons or fireworks?
Nope. Please leave those at home!
Will there be a bonfire on the beach?
Yes! We will light the bonfire as the sun is setting.
Will you be “greening” the event?
Yes. We have been working with Go Green to reduce waste products and use compostable items. There will be two stations for compostable items and trash. Bring your own empty water bottle or compostable cups will be provided for use at the beach house water station.
What if it rains?
This fundraiser is rain or shine unless there is dangerous weather. There is no rain date for this event
Are kids allowed at this event?
Everyone is welcome at this fundraiser, however there will not be separate kids activities provided. Everyone needs a ticket, there is no cost for those who are 5 and under
